I think that we are only as strong as the community we belong to. I don’t believe in keeping expertise behind closed doors. This is why, beyond building my own business, I have always focused on creating or supporting platforms that move the industry forward by transforming individual experience into collective knowledge.
Mastering the Music Business (MMB)
This commitment is most visible in my journey with Mastering the Music Business (MMB), Romania’s leading international music business conference and showcase festival. My connection to the event began in 2016, when I attended the very first edition as a participant. Recognizing the vital necessity of such a professional anchor point in Romania, I decided to join Anca Lupeș and the other partners the following year to help scale the project.
For nine years, I served as the Conference Program Manager, a role where I was responsible for the backbone of this international platform, shaping the schedule, selecting local and international speakers, and designing the panels that define the professional conversation in our region. During this period, we also co-founded RAW MUSIC (Romanian Artists Worldwide Association), which became the export office for Romanian music, bridging the gap between local talent and the global market.
By 2026, after nearly a decade of building the conference’s structure, I felt I had contributed everything I could to the programming side of the event. Seeking a new challenge that would allow me to apply my experience in more unconventional ways, I transitioned to Head of Special Projects within MMB. This shift allows me to move away from the daily logistics of the schedule and focus on high-impact initiatives that continue to push the boundaries of what MMB can achieve for the industry.

Women in Music Romania
In the same spirit, my journey with Women in Music Romania began organically in 2019, stemming from the simple need for a dedicated space where women in the industry could connect. What started as a series of informal meetings grew into our first major project in 2021: a mentorship program that continues to run annually today. Each year, ten established female leaders from the local market mentor ten emerging female professionals, providing them with essential expertise and a support network in a highly competitive field.
The most significant achievement of this period has been consolidating a dedicated team of volunteers who helped transform this initiative into a solid structure. Together, we have built a dynamic ecosystem through yearly networking events, tangible live opportunities for emerging talent as well as fostering creative collaboration via an all-female songwriting camps.
Building on this foundation, in 2025, we founded the HerStory Association. Today, Women in Music is the primary platform developed by the association, dedicated to supporting women across all areas, from artistic creation to management and cultural entrepreneurship.
